Dr. Thérèse Hoang Uyen Nguyen

Dr. Thérèse received her doctorate in Dental Medicine at Université Laval in 1994. She opened the St-Charles Dental Clinic in Pierrefonds in 1996 and has practiced there ever since.

Dr. Thérèse is an active member of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, of the Association des chirurgiens-dentistes du Québec and of the Société Dentaire de Laval.

She is mainly interested by orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry. By registering every year in classes and study groups of various institutions, academies and training schools, she continues her education and training with passion.

Surrounded by a dynamic and exceptional team, Dr. Thérèse is always on the lookout for new methods and knowledge to teach her patients about dental health in the 21st century and to improve or stabilize their oral health, according to their needs and expectations.
When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Thérèse spends time with her beloved daughter. She also shares many interests with her patients, including yoga, reading, traveling and her Asian background.

Dr. Lydie Uyen Anh Nguyen

Dr. Lydie can boast two professional diplomas. She graduated with a higher teaching certificate from Université Laval in 1997, then graduated in Dental Medicine from the Université de Montréal in 2004. She joined the St-Charles Dental Clinic in 2004 as Associate Dentist.

With her naturally strong personality, she feels a great deal of passion for surgery. Since 2009, she has studied implantology at Dr. Yvan Poitras' Institut Canadien d'Implantologie. She also pursued more advanced training in bone and soft tissues grafting with ADE Séminaires. Her training then continued in extensive bone grafting with the Académie dentaire, along with courses on occlusion and implantology cosmetics for anterior (front) teeth with Dr. Phelan. In 2011, she traveled to the Esparza Institute in Colombia for implantology and sinus lift surgical training . And to top it off, she has training with mini-implants from Dr. Bruno Lemay at the CMI Institute.

Dr. Lydie is extremely dynamic, always smiling and the definition of perseverance. She loves travel, badminton, and movies, but her favourite activities are first and foremost the ones she can accomplish with her three children.

Melani Gunnaseelan

Melani graduated as a dental hygienist from John Abbott College in 2006. She joined the team of the St-Charles Dental Clinic in September of that year. Through the years, Melani developed a particular interest for her patients' gum problems. She has been to continuing training classes on parodontal treatments for specific procedures like deep cleanings, gingival evaluations, paro-laser use and tartar detector use. She is also trained for leadership in dentistry, which has made her both skilled and qualified in her field.

Melani is a patient, motivated, punctual person and an excellent team player. In her off time, she enjoys playing cards, badminton and volleyball and loves taking long walks with her husband. She is also the proud mother of a lovely girl.

Rania Aziz

Rania graduated as a dental hygienist from John Abbott College in 2015. She joined the team of the St-Charles Dental Clinic in 2017.

Iryna Hurska

Iryna is Dr. Thérèse's senior assistant. Her adventurous spirit brought her to Canada and Québec in 1998 and she has no desire to leave.

A graduate of the Medical Training School in 2003, Iryna acquired experience with several dental centres before joining the St-Charles Dental Clinic in September 2008. Throughout the years, Iryna has refined her knowledge and skills in orthodontics, root canal treatments and cosmetic surgery. Iryna is highly appreciated for her gentle personality, her thoughtfulness and her perseverance. She is a devoted, methodical and efficient assistant, both for her dentist and for her patients.

Aside from work, she enjoys ballroom dancing and playing tennis with friends. She goes camping with her family every summer, keeps up with the Olympic Games every four years, and enjoys cooking for her family.

Mina Chamangard

Mina is Dr. Lydie's assistant.

Teresa Perna

In 1989, she graduated in administration from Dawson College's professional school.

Terri worked for the Royal Bank of Canada at the start of her career. She was then hired by Air Canada to work in the corporate security department and marketing department. This last job broadened her professional and personal knowledge through travel. She then retired to better focus on her three children's education. She joined the St-Charles Dental Clinic in 2012 to continue her career.
Terri is the team's ray of sunshine. With her dazzling personality, her contagious laugh and her genuine warmth, she brings smiles to the faces of patients and teammates alike, every single day.

Terri is charming both on the phone and in person. She receives and cares for every patient that walks through the door with attentiveness and can speak with them in English, French, Italian or Spanish.
Terri adores her three children and enjoys all the quality time she can spend with her family. Her musical tastes range from classical Italian opera to Led Zeppelin.

Karen Casquinha

Oksana Zaytseva

Born in Ukraine, Oksana finished high school in Germany. She then returned to Ukraine to continue her university studies, where she obtained an undergraduate diploma in Computer Science. In 2000, she followed her husband to Argentina for work. She immigrated to Canada in 2003, took French classes, and received her dental assistant's diploma in 2005. Oksana worked in other dental clinics before joining the team at St-Charles Dental Clinic in May 2010, as an assistant.

Today, Oksana is the clinic's coordinator and Dr. Lydie's second assistant for implantology treatments and complex graftings.

With her strategic nature, Oksana brilliantly orchestrates the clinic's daily activities. She also patiently, gently and kindly guides the patients in choosing and planning treatment. She speaks fluent French, Spanish and Russian.

In her leisure time, she loves to travel and go on adventures. She loves the holiday season, because Christmas and the New Year give her the time to create a new Christmas village every year. She is the doting grandmother of two grand-daughters.
